Trip Room & Breakfast is a sea-view B&B, perfect for a business or leisure stay in the historic center of Reggio Calabria, also known as “the most beautiful kilometre of Italy” or the “City of Bronzes”.
Its strategic location in Via Possidonea 10 makes it easy to reach the main cultural and historical landmarks of the city, either on foot or by car: from the National Archaeological Museum, home to the famous Riace Bronzes, to the Falcomatà Promenade, renowned for its optical effect that makes Sicily appear closer than ever.
In the surrounding area, the picturesque villages of Scilla, Chianalea, Pentedattilo and Bova Marina are also well worth a visit.
• Reggio Calabria Airport “Tito Minniti” (REG): once you land at Reggio Calabria Airport, you can easily reach Trip Room & Breakfast in about 10 minutes by car.
• Lamezia Terme International Airport (SUF): once you land at Lamezia Terme International Airport, take the A2 motorway and then continue on the E90 towards Taranto/Reggio Calabria/Centro-Sud for about 120 km. Our property is located about 5 minutes by car from the Reggio Calabria motorway exit.
• From Catanzaro (about 1 h 40 min): take the A3 motorway, then continue on the A2/E90 towards Taranto/Reggio Calabria/Centro-Sud and take the exit onto Via Andiloro in Reggio Calabria. In about 5 minutes by car, you will reach Trip Room & Breakfast.
• From Catania (about 2 h 10 min): take the A18/E45 towards Messina for about 100 km. From the Port of Messina, take the ferry that crosses the Strait and brings you to Reggio Calabria in only 30 minutes. Once you disembark, you can reach Trip Room & Breakfast in about 10 minutes by car.
• From Taranto (about 4 h 15 min): from the Strada Statale Jonica, take the A2 at Saracena and continue on the E90 towards Reggio Calabria for about 230 km. The Reggio Calabria motorway exit (Via Andiloro) is only 2 km from Trip Room & Breakfast.
• From Naples (about 4 h 50 min): drive along the A3 motorway for about 50 km, then continue on the A2 for 430 km, following the E90 towards Taranto/Reggio Calabria/Centro-Sud. Once you exit at Via Andiloro in Reggio Calabria, it will take only about 5 minutes to reach our property.
Trip Room & Breakfast is easily reachable for travellers arriving by train. Reggio Calabria Centrale Station, located near Piazza Garibaldi, is about a 10-minute drive or a 25-minute walk from our property. From the station, you can also reach us by taxi or by using the ATAM urban bus lines.
You can easily get around Reggio Calabria by bus thanks to the ATAM urban lines. From Reggio Calabria Airport, you can take lines 27 and 28 to the city centre, with services running every 30 minutes. From Reggio Calabria Centrale Station, you can take bus line 117 towards Piazza S. Agostino and get off at the Via Torrione stop, from where you can reach Trip Room & Breakfast in less than 5 minutes.
Located about a 10-minute drive from Trip Room & Breakfast, the Port of Reggio Calabria is a busy arrival and departure point for boats and ferries that transport thousands of visitors every year.
• From Messina: From the Port of Messina Marittima, you can take a ferry that will bring you to Reggio Calabria by sea in just 30 minutes for less than €5.
• From the Aeolian Islands: From Lipari or Vulcano, you can take a hydrofoil or a ferry that will bring you to Reggio Calabria in about two hours.
